Colorado: Grand Junction, Cortez, Durango, Four Corners
Utah: Delta, Eureka, Green River, Logan, Park City, Knight .
New Mexico: Amalia, Raton
Arizona: Mexican Waters, Kayenta, Black Mesa
Nevada: Las Vegas, Reno, Elko, Eureka, Calienta

Fri, March 21, 2008 - 2:31 PMThis is information is from an old post, and many of these "sightings" are actually psychic tips over the 1st two months he was missing . . . yes, obviously we hope and pray that Chris is just our there doing his own thing . . . but if he needs or wants our help we want to be there for him. The things is many of these supposed sightings were less than desirable conditions or scenarios . . . not to doubt my son, but he is easily lost or confused (from TBI), had no money or ID when he disappeared with no sign of a planned departure, and is very inexperienced in the world; the authorities listed his case as suspicious . . . all this leads us to believe that if he is alive, someone is helping him, taking care of him or controlling him . . .
All we are asking is to keep your eye out . . . if you see him tell him to call home and/or call the local authorities . . . the places listed are just stabs in the dark as to where he might be . . .

Fri, March 21, 2008 - 11:32 PMI did look at your son's picture today - I have to ask, is he into anime and anime cons? cause he looks an awful lot like a guy I saw at Anime Wasabi in Denver this last Saturday and Sunday. All by himself, with a wel made pirate type hat one, but jeans, t shirt and long sleeve denim over it. Looked fairly sullen though.
Is that possibly in his liking? If so, then he was in Denver over the weekend. If not, then just a similar loking guy. After all,we all have our doppelgangers out there. -

Sun, March 23, 2008 - 12:12 PMWell, I live up in the mountains and rarely go to Denver, BUT I do have to be in Boulder for a while tuesday and then I'll go over to Aurora and hit the anime stores there - the same crowd hangs out at those stores for the most part and I'll spread the word. And I'll keep my eye open.
Only similar events I know of this year in this area - Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming - are rendezvous in June, The Ren Fest in Larkspur most of the summer on weekends, World Con in August and then NanDesuKan in September.
But know it has been fairly warm lately, so if he's in the Denver area, he's at least not freezing.
I'll keep in touch and I'd happily put a missing poster in my store in Evergreen if you wish to send me one. PM me and I'l get you the details.

Sun, March 23, 2008 - 9:07 AMI like to think my son is unique, but I have been fooled several times but yet another blond skater . . . as far as I know, no, Chris was a little more grounded than that . . . but when he was young we did the Ren faires an all (I am a costume designer, so dressing up is not a stretch) . . . the mannerism you describe sounds right though.
Since Chris has been missing and the scenario came up about him being on the streets, into drugs, traveling with the homeless, etc. I have been alot more aware of the homeless . . . several young kids have asked me for money, and I have asked them "does your family know where you are?" . . . it is surprising how many of them open up and say "yeah, I should give them a call". I guess this is another level of help the community can provide . . . if you think you see Chris, say "hey, are you Chris? You parent are concerned, give them a call".
